71 combat clashes occur at frontline, Pokrovsk direction remains hottest - Ukraine's General Staff
Since the beginning of June 26, 71 combat clashes have taken place along the frontline. The Russian forces are attacking in the Pokrovsk sector the most, where the Defense Forces have already repelled 9 attacks

Russian attacks across Ukraine
The Russian army carried out one missile strike and ten airstrikes using 22 UAVs, launched 44 'kamikaze' drone strikes, and fired almost 600 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements. In addition, the border settlements of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions were once again subjected to insidious artillery shelling from the territory of Russia. Basivka, Popivka, Bila Bereza, Turia, and Bachivsk came under fire from the occupying Russian army.
Furthermore, today the Russian army dropped a guided aerial bomb on the private sector of Derhachi in the Kharkiv district, resulting in casualties, including children.
Situation in the main sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian army attacked six times without success in the areas of Vovchansk and Lyptsi. Two firefights are ongoing near the latter.
In the Kupyansk sector, the Russian army is attacking with the support of aviation. Petropavlivka was attacked with unguided aerial missiles, and the Russian forces hit Nadiia with two more bombs. In total, the Russian troops have deployed almost a dozen unmanned aerial vehicles in the sector today. To date, five Russian attacks have been repelled near Stelmakhivka, Synkivka, and Berestove.
In the Lyman sector, the Russian forces unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions eight times during the day. Three more firefights are ongoing in the areas of Makiivka and Nevske. The situation remains under control.
The occupying Russian army continues to be active in the Siversk sector. Fighting continues near Bilohorivka and Spirne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russian army is attacking in the area of Chasiv Yar, where Ukrainian troops are repelling attacks in two locations. Since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have tried to push Ukrainian units from their positions four times. The Defense Forces have successfully repelled the Russian forces near Klishchiivka. Russian losses are still being assessed. Today, the Defense Forces also successfully held off the Russian attack in the Horlivka-Pivnichne area.
In the Toretsk sector, the number of Russian attacks sharply increased to six. Pivnichne and Toretsk are under attack by Russian aircraft. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are currently repelling five Russian assaults, and another attack near Dachne has been stopped.
The Pokrovsk sector witnessed the highest number of combat clashes. Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has launched 20 attacks on the positions of our troops in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, Vozdvyzhenka, and Prohres. The Defense Forces are holding back the attacks and have repelled nine Russian assaults, with 11 clashes still ongoing.
In the Kurakhove sector, fighting continues near Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviivka. The total number of Russian attacks in the sector increased to six. The Russian forces dropped a guided aerial bomb in the areas of Karlivka and Selydove.
In the Vremivka sector, on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Russian forces twice tried to push Ukrainian units back. Ukrainian positions were not lost.
In the Orikhiv sector, two assault actions of the Russian forces failed in the area of Robotyne and near Mala Tokmachka.
In other areas, the situation did not change significantly.
