68 combat clashes occur at front, one third in Pokrovsk sector — Ukraine's General Staff

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information as of 4:00 p.m.

In the Sumy region’s border areas, Russian artillery and mortar fire targeted Manukhivka and Porozok today. Additionally, the Russian army conducted seven air strikes and dropped 13 guided aerial bombs on Peremoha, Mykhailivske, Kostiantynivka, and Kindrativka.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, five firefights took place near Lyptsi, Starytsia, and Vovchansk. Two battles were completed, and three more are ongoing.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russia conducted five offensives in the direction of Hlushkivka, Andriivka, Kruhliakivka, Stelmakhivka, and Berestove. Three firefights are currently ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian army stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Makiivka and Nevske. Ukrainian defense forces stopped all four attacks.

In the Siversk sector, six battles took place during the day. The occupying Russian army was advancing toward Spirne, Pereizne, and Verkhniokamianske, where one battle is currently underway.

In the Kramatorsk sector, there were two firefights near Chasiv Yar, resulting in the defeat of Russian forces.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces increased their attacks to 10, targeting areas near Zalizne, New York, and Toretsk. Eight attacks were repelled, and two are still ongoing. Additionally, the occupying army launched four air strikes on Druzhba and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russian army conducted 23 assault attacks around Panteleimonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Kalynove, Zelene Pole, Novotoretske, Mykolaivka, Novohrodivka, and Skuchne. Ukrainian defenders are holding their ground, having repelled 15 attacks, with eight firefights still ongoing. Russia’s losses in this area are still being assessed.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russia attempted seven attacks near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka, all of which were unsuccessful.

In the Vremivka sector, Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions three times near Mykilske and Rivnopillia but were unsuccessful. They also fired unguided aerial missiles at Novodonetske.

In the Orikhiv sector, a firefight occurred near Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian forces were defeated in two attacks on Ukrainian defenses.

There were no significant changes in other frontline areas.
