188 clashes reported at frontline on June 20, with 53 Russian attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reports this in its morning briefing.

According to the updated information, on June the Russian aggressors launched one missile strike and 59 air strikes on Ukrainian territory, used four missiles and dropped 109 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they engaged 3,082 'kamikaze' drones and fired 4,997 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas, including 68 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

7 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region were hit by Russian air strikes.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation, missile troops and artillery struck 18 areas of Russian troops, weapons and military equipment, one artillery unit, two command posts, one UAV control post and one other important enemy object.

In the Sumy and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian troops repulsed 38 Russian assaults on June 20, according to updated information. In addition, the Russian forces launched 10 air strikes, dropping 21 guided bombs, and fired 207 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities, including six times from multiple launch rocket systems.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian troops stormed the Ukrainian positions 15 times in the areas of Zelene, Hlyboke, Kamianka, Fyholivka and Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian invaders attacked three times without success, trying to advance near Stepova Novoselivka and Holubivka.

In the Lyman sector, 14 Russian attacks took place over the last day. The Ukrainian defense forces rebuffed the assaults near Novyi Myr, Olhivka, Hrekivka, Ridkodub and in the directions of Karpivka and Hlushchenkove.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian aggressors attacked Ukrainian troops' positions seven times in the direction of Hryhorivka and Ivano-Dariivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, seven firefights were registered in the direction of Bila Hora, Predtechyne and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, the Russian troops made 20 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Bila Hora, Diliivka, Shcherbynivka and towards Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Poltavka, Myrne, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, Udachne, Nadiivka, Sribne, and in the directions of Volodymyrivka, Novopavlivka, Novopidhorodne.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times in the areas of Odradne, Bahatyr, Vesele, Fedorivka, Vilne Pole and Shevchenko.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Ukrainian defenders fought off one Russian offensive near Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders beat back two Russian attacks in the direction of Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one Russian attack in the area of Antonivskyi Bridge.

Along the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
