164 skirmishes at Russian-Ukrainian front: Russia focuses on Pokrovsk and Kurakhove

As of September 14, there have been 164 combat skirmishes on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Russian forces are concentrating their efforts in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors

A total of 164 combat clashes were documented throughout the day.

Russian forces launched two missile strikes against Ukrainian positions and civilian areas, using three missiles. They also conducted 63 airstrikes, dropping 128 precision-guided bombs. Additionally, there were 4,657 ground attacks, including 131 launched by MLRS systems.

Russian airstrikes targeted 25 settlements across Ukraine.

Ukrainian Forces retaliated with strikes on six Russian personnel concentrations and air defense sites. One Russian control post, an artillery system, and a pontoon bridge were also hit.

Frontline update

Kharkiv direction: Ukrainian forces repelled three clashes near Vovchansk.

Kupyansk direction: Ukrainian Defense Forces pushed back 17 Russian assaults, particularly near Kolisnykivka, Stelmakhivka, Lozova, and Synkivka.

Lyman direction: Russian troops launched 19 attacks but failed to advance near Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Novosadove, Zarichne, Cherneshchyna, Serebryanka, and Terny.

Siversk direction: Ukrainian troops defended against 13 assaults near Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyimka.

Kramatorsk direction: Russian troops attempted two attacks, targeting Chasiv Yar and Andriivka.

Toretsk direction: Backed by aviation, Russian forces carried out 12 assaults, particularly near Druzhba, Dachne, Nelipivka, and Toretsk.

Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian defenders thwarted 41 attacks as Russian troops tried to advance toward Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Zelene Pole, Novooleksandrivka, Novotoretsk, Hrodivka, Krasnyi Yar, Novohrodivka, Mykhailivka, and Marynivka.

Kurakhove direction: Ukrainian forces pushed back 39 Russian assaults near Selydove, Ukrainsk, Krasnohorivka, Dolynivka, Zhelanne Druhe, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, Katerynivka, and Zhelanne Pershe.

Vremivka direction: Russian troops launched six attacks on positions near Vodiane, Zolota Nyva, Katerynivka, and Vuhledar.

Huliaipole direction: Russian bombs targeted Verkhnia Tersa.

Orikhiv direction: The settlements of Pyatykhatka and Lobkove were hit with Russian unguided air missiles.

Kherson direction: Ukrainian positions endured eight Russian attacks, all successfully repelled, with Russian forces taking losses.

No signs of Russian offensive groups forming on the Belarusian border.

Along the Chernihiv and Sumy borders, Russian artillery occasionally strikes from across the border.

“Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment,” the General Staff emphasized.

  • As of September 13, Russian forces have lost dozens of pieces of equipment and 1,210 soldiers on the battlefield.
