147 clashes occur on Russian-Ukrainian front on Nov. 7 - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

"According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, in particular, dropped 128 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians used nearly 1,500 ‘kamikaze’ drones and fired over 4,300 times, including 100 times from multiple launch rocket systems," the statement says.

The General Staff added that yesterday the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted six strikes on the Russian manpower and weapons concentration areas, destroying two control points and two artillery systems.

Frontline situation 

In the Vovchansk area in the Kharkiv sector, three Russian attacks on the Ukrainian defenders’ positions took place over the past day.

In the Kupyansk sector, 12 Russian attacks were registered. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the Russian offensive in the direction of Petropavlivka, Kruhliakivka, Kindrashivka, Kolisnykivka, and Lozova.

Russia attacked 17 times, in some cases with the support of attack and bomber aircraft, in the Lyman sector. The Russian army concentrated its main offensive efforts near Druzheliubivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Katerynivka, Terny, Torske, Bilohorivka, and Hryhorivka.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one attack near Pereizne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces attacked seven times near Stupochky and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops, supported by aviation, carried out seven attacks near Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 24 attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Hryhorivka, Sukhyi Yar, and Selydove.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 50 attacks. Russia concentrated its main efforts near Illinka, Novoselydivka, Kreminna Balka, Novodmytrivka, Sontsivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Dalne, and Katerynivka.

In the Vremivka sector, Russia launched five attacks on Ukrainian positions near Trudove, Rozlyv, and Sukhi Yaly.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive actions, but actively used aviation, in particular, dropping more than a dozen guided bombs.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the invading Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions three times. They were fiercely repulsed and suffered losses.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army is actively using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.

The operation in the Kursk region is ongoing. Russia carried out 28 air strikes and dropped 41 guided bombs over the last day.
