Russia loses 1,580 soldiers, 9 tanks and 32 artillery systems in day of war in Ukraine

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to November 8, 2024, are approximately:

• personnel - about 705,880 (+1,580),
• tanks - 9,233 (+9),
• armored fighting vehicles - 18,661 (+49), 
• artillery systems - 20,226 (+32),
• MLRS - 1,245 (+0),
• air defense systems - 996 (+0),
• aircraft - 369 (+0),
• helicopters - 329 (+0),
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 18,526 (+118),
• cruise missiles - 2,631 (+0),
• ships/boats - 28 (+0),
• submarines - 1 (+0),
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 28,495 (+84),
• special equipment - 3,602 (+6).

Since the beginning of the year, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed and damaged 3,179 Russian tanks.
