Ukraine reports 146 clashes at front yesterday, heavy fighting in Toretsk, Kursk sectors

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m. on March 7.

According to the updated information, yesterday Russian forces launched 89 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, in particular, dropped 149 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians used 2,729 'kamikaze' drones and fired over 5,100 times, including 194 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

16 settlements were hit by Russian airstrikes in the past day.

Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 17 Russian manpower and weapons concentration areas, as well as one Russian electronic warfare system.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four Russian attacks near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, two Russian attacks occurred yesterday. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled assaults near Zahryzove.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian army launched 16 attacks, attempting to advance near Ivanivka, Balka Zhuravka, Yampolivka, and in the direction of Hryhorivka.

In the Siversk sector, the Russians attacked Ukrainian defenders' positions once, near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, 13 clashes were recorded near Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces launched 33 attacks near Dyliivka, Krymske, Ozaryanivka, Leonidivka, and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 19 Russian assaults near Promin, Dachenske, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Ulakly, and Andriivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled five attacks on Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynopil, Skudne, and Burlatske.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian invaders attacked five times near Pryvilne and Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 Russian attempts to advance near Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, Nesterianka, Kamianske, and Pyatykhatky.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive actions.

In the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 32 Russian attacks yesterday. Additionally, the Russians carried out 27 airstrikes with 35 guided bombs and fired 467 times on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, including 26 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

"Ukrainian troops are inflicting significant losses on the invading Russian forces in personnel and equipment and are actively undermining Russia's offensive potential behind the lines," the General Staff emphasized.

• On March 5, 109 combat engagements were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 27 enemy attacks.
