125 Russian attacks on Ukrainian positions take place on December 3 - General Staff

This is stated in the General Staff's daily report for December 3.

Frontline situation

• Today, in the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops attempted to conduct offensive actions near Vovchansk, Hlyboke and in the direction of Kozacha Lopan five times, but were rebuffed. Russian enemy aircraft attacked Odnorobivka, Vysoka Yaruha and Hlyboke with glide bombs. 
• Russian enemy attacked Ukrainian positions in the Kupyansk sector once. Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy assault near Kolisnykivka.  
• In the Lyman sector, Russian military units continue to attack in the areas of Pershotravneve, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Yampolivka and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled 4 out of 8 enemy attacks in this area. The fighting continues.
• So far, 2 hostile attacks have taken place in the Toretsk sector. Russian enemy is active in the area of Toretsk. Ukrainian defenders are giving a decent fightback, one attack was stopped, and the battle is ongoing.
• In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have already launched 28 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Dachanske, Chumatske and Novopustyanka. The defense forces repelled 24 enemy attacks. 4 firefights are ongoing. The Russian forces dropped bombs on Myrnohrad.
• The situation is the hottest in the Kurakhove sector, where 30 combat engagements took place. Russian invaders are most actively trying to advance in the areas of Sontsivka, Zorya, Dalmine, Kurakhove, Yelizavetivka and Hannivka. 13 firefights are still ongoing. Ulakly and Dachne came under Russian air strikes.
• In the Vremivka sector, Russian troops attacked the positions of Ukrainian army 14 times near Kostiantynopolske, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdolne and Novodarivka, two of the engagements are still ongoing.
• Russian enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Robotyne, Novodanilivka and Novoandriivka in the Orikhiv sector, the battle is still ongoing.
• In the Prydniprovsky sector, Russian soldiers made 5 unsuccessful attempts to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops.
• In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 Russian attacks today, 9 engagements are ongoing.  

• No significant changes were observed in other sectors.

  Shelling in the north of Ukraine

  The settlements of Porozok, Liskivshchyna, Leonivka, Stara Huta and Bila Bereza in Sumy and Chernihiv regions suffered from Russian artillery shelling.

• Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupation army lost at least 1,790 more of its troops, as well as equipment and weapons at the front.
