11,500 Ukrainians, including 51 children, remain in the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. A total of 18,000 people live in the Pokrovsk community
This was announced by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, during a telethon.
‘Currently, 18 thousand people live in the Pokrovsk community, including 99 children. And in the city of Pokrovsk - 11,5 thousand people and 51 children. The city is open for entry and exit, and the evacuation continues. We talked about closing the city from the direction from the town of Selidove, those places, those roads that were identified by the military,’ he said.
According to Filashkin, Pokrovsk has ‘the bare minimum to support people in the city,’ including some shops and Ukrposhta offices.
At the same time, the local governor stressed that the city has problems with water, gas and electricity supply, as Russia attacks Pokrovsk daily with ballistic missiles and FPV drones. Filashkin once again called on people to leave.
