On October 30, authorities reported that the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, will soon be completely blocked from entering and leaving

This was announced on the air of a telethon by the head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, Serhiy Dobryak.
The Regional Military Administration called on the residents of Pokrovsk to evacuate before the city is blocked. According to Dobryak, almost 12,000 people remain in the city, including 55 children.
‘We urge people to leave at least for the winter, because it will be very difficult in the cold, there will be no central heating, but there will be heating points,’ said Dobryak.
Russian troops are located 6.7 km from the city.
- The situation in the Pokrovsk-Kurakhove sector remains very difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but the Russian forces have not broken through the front.
