Russia tries to conceal losses: trucks transport killed soldiers for cremation in Crimea - General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports about this in a morning briefing on February 15.

Russia continues to suffer losses. In particular, near the village of Krasna Zorka in Simferopol district of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, temporarily occupied territory,  the enemy is using burning to conceal the number of casualties.

Thus, near the local crematorium, there is a constant line of military vehicles of up to 10 units. The occupiers use these trucks to transport the dead Russian soldiers and mercenaries.

According to the General Staff, cremations are carried out around the clock. Cremation services are not provided to civilians.

Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in more than 20 localities

Over the past day, February 14, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks in the vicinity of more than 20 settlements, including Hryanykivka (Kharkiv region), Nevske, Kreminna, Bilohorivka (Luhansk region), Fedorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Prechistivka (Donetsk region)

Ukrainian troops hit 6 ammunition depots, 2 electronic warfare stations and several enemy concentration areas

Over the last day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out 8 strikes on the areas of concentration of occupants' personnel and military equipment. 

Missile and artillery gunners hit a command post, 2 areas of enemy manpower concentration, 6 ammunition depots and 2 enemy electronic warfare stations.

Russian forces carried out 2 missile and 3 air strikes and fired 68 MLRS at Ukraine

On February 14, the enemy launched two missile attacks on civilian infrastructure in the Donetsk region and three air strikes. In addition, 68 hostile attacks from multiple launch rocket systems were recorded, in particular, against civilian objects in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.

The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains high.

The enemy advances in 5 directions

The enemy, trying to take full control of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Northern and Northeastern Ukrainian border sectors.

The enemy does not stop mortar and artillery attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements near the contact line.

The areas of 2 settlements in Chernihiv region, 5 in Sumy region, and 17 in Kharkiv region were under hostile fire.

At the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy fired at more than 20 localities with tanks, mortars and artillery, including 3 in Kharkiv region, 12 in Luhansk region and 2 in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, over 25 localities came under mortar and artillery fire, including 12 in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, 30 localities were attacked by tanks, mortars and artillery, including 14 in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 20 localities came under fire. 

In the Kherson sector, the suburbs and the city of Kherson itself, as well as areas of more than 30 settlements, were affected by hostile artillery fire.
