Russia trains over 300 recruits in Altai Krai, including drug addicts, hepatitis patients and former convicts - Ukraine's General Staff

Over 300 Russians who signed a contract with the Russian Armed Forces and are undergoing training at the Altai Krai training grounds have sought medical care to postpone their deployment to combat areas

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the information in a morning report on July 10.

"Over 300 people who have signed a contract with the Russian Armed Forces are undergoing training at one of the training grounds of the eastern military district of the Altai Krai. Among the recruits are former convicts, homeless persons, drug addicts and patients with hepatitis," the report says. 

Most of these people have already applied to medical institutions to try to postpone their deployment to the combat areas in Ukraine.

Up to 30 combat clashes take place at the frontline per day

Russian troops attack in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. 

About 30 combat engagements took place there over the last day.

Russia launches 30 air strikes and 47 MLRS attacks in Ukraine in a day

Last night, on July 10, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv. Information on the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Meanwhile, over the past day, Russian occupying forces launched 30 air strikes and 47 MLRS attacks. There are casualties and injuries among the civilian population, as well as damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

The threat of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.

The situation in different regions of Ukraine

On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops maintain military presence. 

They launched an airstrike on a settlement in the Chernihiv region, as well as mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 15 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense line.

Russian troops carried out air strikes near 2 settlements and shelled 5 settlements across the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, during the day, with the support of aviation, Russian forces attempted to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions in the area west of Spirne, Donetsk region, but were unsuccessful. 

Furthermore, Russian forces carried out air strikes near 4 settlements and shelled over 10 settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions with artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy fire from Russian aircraft and artillery, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled Russian attacks near Dubovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region. 

Russian troops also launched air strikes near 2 settlements and shelled over 15 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defense forces hold back the Russian offensive near Avdiivka, Donetsk region. 

Meanwhile, Russian troops shelled over 15 settlements with artillery. 

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks near the town of Marinka. 

Russian troops launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region, and shelled over 15 more settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful offensive near Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region.

They also shelled over 10 other settlements. 

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces’ priority is preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops.

Russian troops also launched air strikes on 3 settlements and shelled over 20 settlements across Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions, inflicting artillery fire, and conducting counter-battery operations.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Russian' manpower concentrations and artillery at firing positions

Thus, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out 1 strike on a concentration of Russian personnel over the past day.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 2 concentrations of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 artillery pieces at firing positions and 2 electronic warfare stations.
