Russia to graduate military university students early – AFU General Staff
Russian troops continue to suffer significant losses: students of some military universities will be graduated early, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces repel 35 Russian attacks in a day

Students of Russian military universities will be graduated early
To compensate for the losses, the Russian leadership decided to hold an early graduation of students of military universities on April 29. In particular, the early graduation process will include military universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kostroma, Penza, Omsk, Tyumen, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Volsk and Blagoveshchensk.
"At the same time, graduations from higher education institutions that train specialists for military units of the Strategic Missile Forces, Air Force and Navy of the Russian Armed Forces will be held in accordance with previously planned schedules," the General Staff noted.

Russian troops continue to focus their main efforts on launching offensives in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions – more than 35 Russian attacks were repelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation has launched 8 strikes on Russian personnel concentrations. Ukrainian defenders have also shot down a Russian reconnaissance UAV
Missile and artillery units hit 2 Russian concentrations of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 1 ammunition depot, 1 air defense position and 3 electronic warfare stations.
Situation by directions is as follows:
On the northern and northeastern border with Belarus and Russia, the operational situation remained unchanged, and no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected. During the day, Russian troops fired on 1 settlement in the Chernihiv region, 6 in the Sumy region and 6 others in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, 9 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian fire.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched unsuccessful offensives near 2 settlements. They also launched artillery attacks on a settlement in the Kharkiv region. Four in the Luhansk region, and four more in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian forces continue launching offensives, trying to take full control of the city of Bakhmut; fighting continues. During the day, they launched unsuccessful offensives near the town of Bohdanivka. Ukrainian defense forces repelled about 10 Russian attacks in the area.
Russian troops shelled 13 settlements in the Donetsk region.
In Avdiivka and Marinka directions, Russian forces launched unsuccessful offensives near 4 settlements.
The fiercest fighting in this direction is taking place near Marinka. Over 10 Russian attacks were repelled there. At the same time, 11 settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops did not launch any offensives over the last day. They fired at 8 settlements in the Donetsk region.
In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces continue erecting defensive lines and fortifications. They fired at 18 settlements bordering the combat line in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
