This is reported by the Center for National Resistance.
It is noted that with such a ban, the invading forces continue the policy of forced passportisation of the region, as a Russian passport is required to change the number plate.
Traffic in the temporarily occupied territories is possible only with a pass from the occupation administration.
All passes are actually valid until the end of the year, and from January 1, they can also be issued only with a Russian passport.
"Please note that the Russians can issue their papers and imitate support as much as they want, but this does not change the fact that they are occupiers and enemies for the majority of the local population," the Center for National Resistance said.
- Back in January, Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister said that in the temporarily occupied territories, Russians began issuing their own car licence plates with the Russian Federation code.
