The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security reported this.

The video with the toxic cloud was posted on social media by Russian propagandists and Z-military channels, showing the consequences of the shelling of the Tolyatti-Odesa pipeline.

However, according to Oleh Synyehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Militar Administration, the ammonia pipeline in the Kupiansk district was actually depressurized due to Russian shelling.

Thanks to the operation of the safety valves, ammonia leakage is prevented.

“As of 10:29 pm on June 6, there is no threat of hazardous substances spreading in the Kupiansk community. We continue to monitor the level of pollution, the situation is under control,” said the head of the region.

Invading Russian troops attacked the Kupiansk district on the night of June 6, striking 6 times near the pumping station in the Masiutivka area.

“In Masiutivka, the measurements showed 7 nanograms per cubic meter, while the safe level is up to 10 nanograms. In Kupiansk, there is no ammonia in the air at all,” added Synyehubov.

What is known about the shelling of the ammonia pipeline in the Kharkiv region?

On June 2, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration warned of the possibility of a chemical attack from Crimea and told how to act in case of danger.

On Monday, June 5, the Russian troops hit Balaklia, Kharkiv region, with Smerch MLRS, killing one person and injuring nine others.

On June 5, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it saw no prospects for extending the grain deal. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin reiterated that Russia's demand for the extension of the agreement is to allow ammonia transit.

As a result of the damage to the ammonia pipeline that occurred in the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, on June 5, there is no threat to residents and no need for evacuation.

On June 6, Russia fired for the second time in a day at the ammonia pipeline in the Kharkiv region, which it demands to 'launch' as part of the grain deal.
