Russia shells Sumy region, at least 4 people killed, 6 injured

On June 15, Russian shelling of the Sumy region has killed 4 people, injured 6 more, damaged a car and an outbuilding

Sumy regional military administration head Dmytro Zhyvytsky shared the update in his Telegram channel.

"At night, on the territory of Sadivska territorial community, Sumy district, Russia launched a missile strike. Four people were killed and at least six were injured. Information about the destruction and damage will be later," he said.

That explosion was heard in half of the Sumy region and in Sumy.

"Around 5 am, Russia fired one missile at Krasnopillya community. Then Russian forces opened fire from their territory, fired mortars. A total of 26 shellings," the head added.

As a result, a farm building and a Daewoo Sens car caught fire. Information about the victims and additional damage to infrastructure is also being clarified.
