Russia shells Nikopol residential quarters, damaging houses, gas pipeline and power grid
On the night of January 4, Russian troops have shelled the residential quarters of Nikopol, as a result houses, a gas pipeline, and an electricity transmission line were damaged.

Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, reported the information.
He noted that Nikopol was hit by heavy artillery. A dozen shells struck the Nikopol residential quarters.
There are no casualties. Residential buildings, a car, a gas pipeline, a power line, and farm buildings were damaged.
"In other areas, the air alert alarm twice warned of danger, but there were no attacks. And for now it's calm in the district," the statement reads.
- On January 3, the defenders of Ukraine hit 17 Russian personnel concentrations and repelled attacks near 10 cities and villages.
