Russia shells Krasnopillia in Sumy region with self-propelled artillery, killing woman in her own home

On the afternoon of Sunday, December 17, Russian forces fired from a self-propelled artillery system at the border town of Krasnopillia, Sumy region, killing an elderly woman.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
It is noted that the Russian shelling took place around 12:50. The invaders used methods of warfare prohibited by international law, namely, they attacked the civilian infrastructure of Krasnopillia with self-propelled artillery systems.
One shell hit a private house, killing a 69-year-old woman.
Three private houses and two vehicles were also damaged.
- On the evening of Saturday, 16 December, Russian forces launched Shahed drones against Ukraine. One of the downed UAVs crashed into a residential area in Odesa region and exploded, killing one person.
