Russia sets up domestic production of Shahed drones – Estonian intelligence
Russia has established domestic production and can now make almost 1,000 Shahed-136 self-detonating drones per month
The head of the Estonian intelligence service, Ants Kiviselg, said this during a telethon, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, Russia is building new hangars for aircraft repair and has launched military factories to work in three shifts.
He noted that the enemy would be able to produce millions of artillery shells a year, though he did not give an exact number.
Kiviselg said that North Korea has handed over thousands of containers of weapons to the Russians - approximately 300,000 to 500,000 shells.
"Our estimates are based on the number and size of the containers, as well as production information. As for weapons from Iran, there is information that Russia has started producing drones using Iranian technology, with a production capacity of almost 1,000 drones per month," the intelligence officer said.
The military stressed that there is no information that Moscow has received Iranian missiles.
