Ukrainian journalist Oleksandr Kovalenko analyzed Russia’s recent aerial attacks on his Telegram channel.
On November 7, a new daily record was set with 103 guided air bombs used. This followed the previous record of 100 such bombs used on October 23. Over the first week of November, a total of 433 guided bombs were dropped by the Russian occupying forces.
“To date, there is still no effective instrument to counteract such bombs. All those instruments that could counteract them are either absent in Ukraine or are yet to be provided, or they are critically insufficient, while Russia is increasing the intensity of bombardment,” the journalist highlights.
- Russia increasingly uses guided air bombs to attack Ukraine, with their numbers reaching a record of 1,165 in October.
