Russia sends more and more forces to Avdiivka - military administration
The head of the Avdiivka city military administration, Vitaliy Barabash, said that the situation near Avdiivka is difficult, but controlled by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
He said this on the air on the Espreso TV channel.
"The situation is tough and difficult in Avdiivka. The enemy is sending more and more forces to surround the city. Despite a large number of massive shelling, air strikes, and fierce assaults by the Russian enemy, Ukrainian guys are holding the line. The situation is difficult, but controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," said Barabash.
The head of the Avdiivka city military administration also added that over the past two days, the enemy has started using less equipment, but infantry assaults have not decreased.
"Most likely, the weather conditions do not allow them to use their equipment more actively, or maybe they already understand that it is not enough. So far, we are not talking about the peak of hostilities or a decrease," emphasised Barabash.
