Russia loses up to 2 companies killed and wounded in a day in Marinka

According to Dmytrashkivskyi, the enemy persists in attacking Ukrainian army positions in the Avdiivka and Marinka directions. In the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched 27 attacks solely in the Marinka area. However, the enemy incurred significant losses and eventually retreated, losing 12 units of military equipment, and suffering up to two company's worth of casualties.

The colonel stressed that the Russian occupation forces continue to shell civilian towns and villages. He reminded that Ukraine is fighting against a terrorist state, and the Russians have nothing to showcase on the battlefield, which is why they resort to targeting civilians. Nonetheless, he emphasized that the Russians would be held accountable for all their crimes.

• On April 16, the General Staff announced that the AFU Air Force had carried out 11 strikes on Russian personnel and military equipment positions. Additionally, they conducted three attacks on anti-aircraft missile systems.
