Russia loses more than 101,000 soldiers since starting war against Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to December 24 amounted to:

personnel - about 101,430 (+480 per day),

tanks - 3,006 (+1),

armored fighting vehicles -  5,994 (+8),

artillery systems - 1,988 (+4),

MLRS - 418 (+4),

air defense systems - 212,

aircraft - 283,

helicopters - 267,

vehicles and tank trucks - 4,627 (+5)

ships/boats - 16,

UAV operational-tactical level - 1,706 (+8),

special equipment - 178,

cruise missiles - 653.

The Russian military suffered the greatest losses in Kupiansk, Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions.

• On December 22 it became known that Ukrainian defenders killed a Russian mercenary major who fought as part of Wagner's PMC.
