During the past day, the Russian forces conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, Shakhtarsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions

Russian army conducts assault operations in 7 directions but without success
The General Staff reports it.
In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.
In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, the Russian troops carried out assault operations in the areas of Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka in Kharkiv region, where the Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks.
In the Lyman direction, the invaders carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the area of Siversk, Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 Russian attacks in the areas of 2 localities in the Donetsk region. Also, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian enemy, and consolidating the achieved positions.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka direction, Russia keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukraine's soldiers are holding the line and inflicting significant losses on their enemies. Russia's offensive actions in 4 localities of the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, the Defense Forces repelled 13 attacks there.
In the Marinka direction, the Russian forces unsuccessfully stormed the areas of 2 settlements in the Donetsk region, where Ukraine's defense forces repulsed 18 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out unsuccessful assaults near Staromayorske, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russia conducted assaults near Robotyne and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region but had no success.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, conducting counter-battery combat and inflicting fire damage on Russia's rear.
Russians launched 5 missiles and 61 airstrikes against Ukraine
On the night of November 21, Russian forces launched an air attack on Ukraine, deploying UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. Our anti-aircraft defense successfully neutralized 9 out of 10 attacking UAVs.
The following night, November 22, the enemy carried out another airstrike, employing 14 UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. All hostile drones were effectively eliminated. Additionally, invaders targeted the port facilities in Odesa and the Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky district of Odesa region using Kh-31P missiles, and the city of Zaporizhzhia with Kh-22 missiles. One Kh-22 missile failed to reach its target, landing in an open area in Zaporizhzhia region. The blast wave caused damage to private residences.
Over the past day, there were 48 combat engagements. Russia launched 5 missile strikes, 61 airstrikes, and over 60 MLRS attacks on the Ukrainian troops' positions and civilian areas. Russian terrorist attacks resulted in casualties among the civilian population, along with the destruction and damage of private homes and other civilian infrastructure.
Airstrikes hit various locations, including Leonivka and Popivka in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region; Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Serebryansk Forestry in the Kharkiv region; Spirne, Andriivka, Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Urozhayne, Zaporizhzhia region; and Zmiivka, Novoberyslav, and Kozatske in the Kherson region.
Artillery fire impacted more than 150 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.
The Defense Forces targeted a command post and three manpower concentration areas
Throughout the day, the Defense Forces' aviation conducted strikes on the control post, delivered six strikes on areas with concentrated personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and carried out two strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.
