Russia loses about 43,200 soldiers, 1,849 tanks and 233 aircraft since starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to August 12 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 43,200 (+200 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,849 (+3)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 4,108 (+8) 

•   artillery systems - 975 (+1)

•   MLRS - 261 

•   air defense systems - 136 (+2)

•   aircraft - 233 (+1)

•   helicopters - 193 

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 3,021 (+3) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 778 (+6)

•   special equipment - 90 

•   cruise missiles - 185 

On August 11, Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.
