The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to July 8, 2023 amounted to:
- personnel - about 233,440 (+630 per day)
- tanks - 4,074 (+4)
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,953 (+9)
- artillery systems - 4,346 (+16)
- MLRS - 661 (+3)
- air defense systems - 410 (+2)
- aircraft - 315
- helicopters - 309
- vehicles and tank trucks - 6,914 (+16)
- ships/boats - 18
- UAV operational-tactical level - 3,666 (+14)
- special equipment - 619 (+7)
- cruise missiles - 1,271

On July 8, the General Staff reported that the Defense Forces' aviation launched 7 strikes on the Russian troops' military positions, 4 on anti-aircraft missile systems and 1 on the enemy control center.
