Russia loses 570 soldiers, 7 tanks and 19 drones in Ukraine over one day

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 28.03.23 are approximately estimated as follows:

• personnel - about 171,730 (+570) people were killed

• tanks - 3,602 (+7) 

• armored combat vehicles - 6,966 (+13) 

• artillery systems - ,2653 (+15) 

• MLRS - 525 (+2) units

• air defense systems - 277 (+0)

• Aircraft - 305 (+0)

• helicopters - 291 (+0)

• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 2,235 (+19)

• cruise missiles - 911 (+0)

• ships/boats - 18 (+0) 

• vehicles and tankers - 5,502 (+9)

• special equipment - 287 (+2)

On March 27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 5 drones, destroyed an artillery unit at a firing position and a Russian ammunition depot. The Armed Forces also repelled 62 enemy attacks.

• On the night of March 28, Russia attacked Kyiv with Shahed drones. According to the city administration, all air targets were shot down. The debris caused a fire in the Sviatoshynskyi district. The Russians also attacked Dnipro with 3 drones. Two of them were shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, another hit a private enterprise and caused a fire.

• In total, on the night of March 28, Russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 attack drones and guided aerial bombs. The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down 14 Shaheds and a reconnaissance drone.
