
Russia loses 1,090 soldiers, 8 tanks, 2 air defense systems in Ukraine overnight
Since starting the war in Ukraine, Russia has lost 159,090 soldiers, 3,466 tanks, 2,108 UAVs, 304 aircraft and 289 helicopters
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 12, 2023 amounted to:
- personnel - about 159,090 (+1090 per day)
- tanks - 3,466 (+8)
- armored fighting vehicles - 6,769 (+7)
- artillery systems - 2,487 (+4)
- MLRS - 493
- air defense systems - 259 (+2)
- aircraft - 304
- helicopters - 289
- vehicles and tank trucks - 5,348 (+4)
- ships/boats - 18
- UAV operational-tactical level - 2,108
- special equipment - 242
- cruise missiles - 907

In the morning, the General Staff reported that over the past day, the AFU repelled 92 enemy attacks in 5 directions, struck 10 times at Russian personnel and equipment areas, and hit a munitions depot and 2 electronic warfare stations.
