On February 28, Russian troops increased the number of missile launchers in the Black Sea. Now the total volley can reach 32 missiles
Colonel Vladyslav Nazarov, spokesman for the Southern Operational Command, said.
"The enemy's ship grouping in the Black Sea has been significantly increased, despite the moderate storm," the spokesman wrote.
It is reported that as of 15:00 on February 28, there are already 17 Russian ships in the waters, including 5 missile carriers, including two submarines.
The total volley can reach 32 Kalibr missiles
In addition, Russian troops do not stop aerial reconnaissance, so missile strikes, both massive and targeted, are not excluded.
Nazarov urged Ukrainians not to ignore air raid warnings.
“Remember that it is unacceptable to report on the movements and work of our units, including air defense, during enemy attacks, do not share information about hits in the public domain,” spokesperson for the South military command added
- On February 26, Russia did not put missile carriers on duty in the Black Sea due to the storm, in particular, the Russian forces are "moving away" from the Ukrainian-controlled coast because of possible attacks with long-range weapons.
- On February 27, Russian troops deployed a submarine missile carrier with 4 Kalibr missiles into the Black Sea. There is a high probability of missile strikes.
- Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, said that the increase in the number of Russian ships in the Black Sea indicates that they are trying to find new tactics to deliver more effective strikes.
