Russia deploys 2 missile carriers to Black Sea, seeks new, more effective tactics - Ukraine’s South Defense Forces
The increase in the number of Russian ships in the Black Sea indicates that Russia is trying to find new tactics to launch more effective strikes
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint coordination center of Ukraine’s South Defense Forces, reported the information on the United News national telethon.
According to her, the increase in the number of Russian ships in the Black Sea is due to the fact that Russia does not always feel at ease in the bays it considers its base points.
She added that Russia is trying “to flex” by putting large landing ships to sea.
"But the fact that the number of missile carriers has increased, and the fact that these are missile submarines, the launch from which is difficult to detect for air defense, may indicate the very new tactics they are looking for to make missile strikes more effective," Humeniuk said.
