Ukriane's Operational Command South says why Russia is not keeping missile carriers in Black Sea
On February 26, Russia did not place missile carriers on duty in the Black Sea due to the storm. Russian troops are 'moving away' from the Ukrainian-controlled coast due to possible attacks with long-range weapons
Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk reported this.
According to Natalia Humeniuk, on February 26, the Russians did not put the Kalibr missile carriers on alert in the Black Sea, which was due to a storm. In particular, she claimed that last night Russia brought one such carrier into the basing area.
“Russian ships are moving closer to the eastern coast of Crimea. They are moving further and further away from the Ukrainian-controlled coast. Because they realize that long-range weapons are getting closer and closer,” the spokesperson added, reminding that the threat of missile strikes remains: the invading forces can prepare and deploy carriers in a few hours.
