Russia has said that a missile strike on Lviv destroyed "large consignments of Western weapons"
The Russian Defense Ministry said that airborne missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces were fired at the Ukrainian city and allegedly destroyed the facility where there were large quantities of weapons for Ukraine from the United States and other countries
This is reported by the Russian Interfax.
"The logistics center and large batches of foreign weapons that were in it and arrived in Ukraine over the past six days from the United States and European countries have been destroyed", said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
He also added that on the same day the invaders "destroyed a large ammunition depot" in the Vasylkiv area of the Kyiv region.
In general, according to Konashenkov, the operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked "84 military facilities of Ukraine".
"Destroyed: in Dnepropetrovsk, a plant for the repair of the main parts of tactical missiles "Tochka-U"; near the village of Zelene Pole, the command post of the territorial defense battalion; near the village of Chervona Polyana, two ammunition trains and a fuel storage", the Russian official said.
The representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense also noted that during the day, Russian air-launched missiles allegedly hit 16 Ukrainian military facilities.
"Among them: two command posts, two strongholds of Ukrainian troops, as well as places of concentration of invader personnel and military equipment in the areas of Popasna, Barvinkove and Chervoniy Lyman", Konashenkov added.
In addition, he boasted that Russian missile forces and artillery hit 331 military targets in Ukraine. The shelling allegedly hit "nine command and control posts, the composition of missile and artillery weapons, 315 invader manpower concentration areas in the Popasna and Novomayorska areas".
At the same time, it should be added that the Pentagon stated that there was no evidence that the invaders "destroyed one of the aid parties for Ukraine".
