Defense Express expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"On the one hand, if we rely on the data of the Ukrainian General Staff, it turns out that Russia has lost all its tanks that were in service before the war. Most probably, a significant number, i.e. 1,500 tanks, was brought back from the conservation base. To restore one tank, Russia has to disassemble about 3 to 4 vehicles for spare parts, because it has lost the appropriate restoration technologies," he noted.

According to the expert, the same goes for Russian artillery systems.

"A big question arose in the expert community after Shoigu's megalomaniac plans to create 2 military districts, motorized rifle divisions, and additional brigades. What will they arm them with? According to the best performance indicators of the Russian military-industrial complex, it will take them several years to produce this equipment, but they expect to deploy 200,000 mobilized troops into combat within the next 6 months. Perhaps, Russia will try to arm them out of the old stocks, show new equipment purely for psychological effect, and throw the vast majority of soldiers into combat equipped with a steel helmet from World War II times and an old assault rifle, as they usually do," summed up Kyrychevskyi.
