The Center for Countering Disinformation reported this on its Telegram channel.

"Fake information is spreading online, allegedly stating that the jet-powered drones Russia uses to attack Kyiv are 'impossible to shoot down.' However, this is not true, as claims about the 'unreal difficulty' of intercepting them are exaggerated," the statement says.

The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yurii Ihnat, explained that although the high-speed jet-powered Shaheds do pose a challenge for air defense, their use has not yet become widespread.

He emphasized that Ukrainian Air Defense Forces are still effectively shooting down most of these drones, despite their increased speed and maneuverability.

  • Russian propaganda claims that the destruction in Dnipro on June 24 was caused by Ukrainian air defense activity, and not by a Russian strike on the city.
