Russia doesn't reduce infantry activity at front, drops over 40 bombs on Donetsk region - brigadier general

This was reported by General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

According to him, the invading troops are acting with the support of armored vehicles and are engaging aviation at the front.

"They are dropping bombs - over 40 units over the past day. All of them are aimed at the Donetsk region," said General Tarnavskyi.

Over the last day, Russia carried out 24 air strikes, engaged in 56 combat clashes and fired 648 artillery rounds in the Tavria operational area. Ukraine's defenders are holding the line in the Avdiivka direction.

Total losses of the Russian Federation in this area amounted to 466 people. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 20 pieces of military equipment, including 4 tanks, 11 armored vehicles, 1 artillery system, 4 vehicles and an ammunition depot. Another 17 units of Russian equipment were damaged.

• According to the Ukrainian General Staff, 95 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Russian army took place on the frontline over the past day. Ukrainian defenders repelled most of the Russian attacks in the Avdiivka direction and eliminated 900 invaders.
