Russia amasses troops near Synkivka - Ukrainian brigade on Kupyansk sector

"The Steel Frontier Brigade continues to conduct combat operations in the Lyman-Kupyansk sector. The enemy keeps attacking the positions of Ukrainian forces. Over the past day, the enemy made 7 assault attacks, all of which were repelled. However, Russian enemy continues offensive actions in the direction of Kupyansk. The situation is the most tense in the area of Synkivka. Russian enemy has concentrated the largest number of personnel and equipment there. Russia is trying to break through this area by all means," emphasized Shevtsov.

The head of the press service of the Steel Frontier assault brigade also added that the intensity of fighting in the Kupyansk sector has not changed significantly recently.

"Everything is stable and tense. The enemy continues artillery shelling, kamikaze drone attacks, and assault operations by small groups of 10 to 30 servicemen under the cover of armored vehicles," noted Shevtsov.

• Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks in the Bakhmut, Kupyansk, Avdiivka, Zaporizhzhia, Lyman and Marinka sectors. Ukrainian defenders also neutralized 990 invading Russian troops.
