He shared the information in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to Lithuanian and Ukrainian intelligence, Russia will be able to continue waging war in 2023 and 2024 at best. However, Skibitsky emphasized that the stockpile may decrease with increased sanctions pressure.
"Lithuanian military intelligence says that Russia's stockpile is two years. We also say that they can wage war until 2023 - 2024 at the latest - that's it. This is if we are talking about a conventional war. And if sanctions are tightened, this reserve will be even smaller," said the DIU representative.
Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets believes that with large stockpiles of military equipment, Russia may try to drag out the war for 2 to 3 years.
US Under Secretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Kahl does not rule out that the war in Ukraine could last for another 2 to 3 years.
