Russia can produce about 100 missiles per month – Ukrainian General Hromov

Hromov said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"According to our estimates, the Russian military-industrial complex is capable of producing about 100 missiles per month, including more than 10 projectiles for the Iskander ballistic missile system, up to 30 Kalibr sea-based missiles, and up to 60 air-launched cruise missiles, including the Kinzhal hypersonic air-ballistic missiles," the military said.

Hromov noted that the Russian Federation manages to maintain the pace of missile production and even improve some weapons. 

This is due to the transition of Russian enterprises to a round-the-clock operation, as well as the use of some elements purchased despite sanctions. The Russian forces also use a significant number of drones.

"In particular, Russia has received up to 1,800 Shahed drones from Iran, about 1,600 of them have been used in combat operations, and the balance is more than 200. The stocks of these UAVs are constantly replenished as a result of supplies from Iran. In addition, Russia has reached an agreement with this country to build a plant for the production of Shahed drones in Tatarstan, in an area 10 km from Kazan," said the Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

In addition, the Russian army is actively using its own Lancet attack drones, which are mass-produced at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, part of the Kalashnikov concern.

According to Hromov, up to 900 of these drones have been manufactured, of which 850 have been used in the combat zone. Accordingly, their remaining stock is currently about 50 UAVs: 

"It should be noted that due to Western economic sanctions and lack of access to modern technology, the enemy's technological capabilities to produce modern drones remain limited”.
