Russia boosts forces in Crimea, Ukrainian army repels 71 enemy attacks in 5 directions - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

AFU repelled 71 enemy attacks in 5 directions and shot down 3 UAVs

The Russian Federation is focused on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

Thus, on February 25, our defenders repelled 71 enemy attacks in the above areas.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation launched 12 strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions. The Armed Forces also shot down three enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of various types: Orlan-10, Supercam S350 and Lancet-3.

Missile and artillery units hit a control center, 2 manpower concentration areas, a radar station, an electronic warfare station, and 2 other important enemy targets.

Russian forces launched 14 missile attacks and 19 airstrikes against Ukraine

It is noted that the Russian troops are constantly conducting aerial reconnaissance to adjust fire, and the threat of further missile strikes is significant throughout Ukraine.

On February 25, the occupying forces launched 14 missile strikes, 19 airstrikes, as well as over 57 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems, injuring civilians. 

Invading forces strengthen the defense of the temporarily occupied territories due to fears of the AFU's counteroffensive

For example, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Russians are building fortifications: they brought 150 Russian conscripts from the Chelyabinsk region to perform engineering work.

And in the Donetsk region, in Horlivka, the "town prosecutor" has resigned and is preparing to evacuate to the territory of the Russian Federation.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact: one settlement in the Chernihiv region, 4 more in the Sumy region, as well as 6 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the Russian enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near 9 settlements. 11 localities came under artillery fire. 

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian forces continue to attack the Ukrainian troops' positions. They conducted unsuccessful offensives near 6 settlements of the Donetsk region. 22 more localities came under fire. 

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked 8 settlements of the Donetsk region. 10 more settlements came under fire. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive. It continues to shell the areas of settlements bordering the contact line. In particular, 18 cities and villages were subjected to Russian fire.
