Russia attacks 9 regions of Ukraine in one day killing 4 people and injuring 13 more

The consequences of the shelling were reported at 09:00 by the regional military administrations.

In the Kyiv region, the air defense forces were active during the night. While no direct hits were recorded, debris falling in a community damaged more than 10 private houses, commercial spaces, and two cars. Two individuals sustained cuts from broken glass and received on-site treatment.

In the Chernihiv region, the enemy conducted 9 attacks using mortars and artillery in the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Koryukivka districts throughout the day.

In the Sumy region, the Russians conducted 5 attacks on populated areas during the night and morning, resulting in no consequences. On the previous day, 28 attacks occurred, involving mortars, artillery, grenade launchers, an airstrike, and the dropping of explosives from a UAV. In the Esman community, an aerial bombardment from a helicopter damaged a grain storage warehouse.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy attacked the Nikopol district three times since the morning, targeting the Marganets community. At night, the aggressor continued the attacks, shelling Marganets with heavy artillery and assaulting the Synelnykove district. A fire broke out in a Slavhorod community agricultural enterprise, destroying a truck and damaging outbuildings, a garage, a tractor, and two private houses. Thankfully, there were no fatalities or injuries.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russians launched 89 shelling incidents across the region throughout the day. In Kamianske, a 42-year-old man was killed, and a 46-year-old woman was injured. Additionally, a 60-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man were injured in Hulyaipole. A 68-year-old resident of Novodanylivka also suffered injuries.

In the Kharkiv region, enemy shelling from the 2C7 Pion self-propelled artillery vehicle struck a cafe building in the village of Podoly, leading to the death of a 28-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man. A 26-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition.

In the Luhansk region, the enemy fired 159 attacks during the day, utilizing attack and tactical aircraft near Bilohorivka and Tverdokhlibove. Over 7 communities were subjected to enemy artillery fire.

In the Donetsk region, 12 settlements experienced enemy fire, resulting in damage to 5 private residential buildings, 7 trucks, 2 tractors, 3 power lines, a garage, a harvester, and a gas pipeline. Two individuals were injured during the day.

In the Kherson region, the enemy launched 61 shelling attacks, with 5 artillery shells hitting Kherson. Numerous settlements were targeted, including Olhivka, where a resident died due to burns, and Kherson's center, where a 41-year-old woman sustained injuries. The Russian army also shelled the Kherson hospital, damaging doors and 17 windows. One enterprise in Kherson was also targeted, injuring a 34-year-old man.

• During the night of August 27, the Russian occupying forces attempted a missile attack on Ukraine's capital. While the air defense successfully destroyed all targets, two people were injured.
