Russia and Belarus will not stop holding joint military drills – Ukraine’s border guards
Andriy Demchenko, spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, said that the joint exercises of the Russian and Belarusian military will continue in the future
Andriy Demchenko shared this during the United New telethon.
"It should be understood that such exercises last for more than one month, and terms are constantly extended. And I think these drills will last for a long time. In fact, Belarus and Russia are working in that direction to maintain tension so we stay alert," he said.
The spokesman claimed that no enemy strike group has been reported to be in the north, but Ukraine should not underestimate the enemy. Andriy Demchenko also emphasized that the drills continue so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep the necessary amount of forces and equipment in this direction and do not transfer them to the hotter areas of the front when they are more needed.
