Russia aims to dispose of PMCs by deploying them to Ukraine’s most dangerous areas
Russia considers private armies to be a threat to the existence of the dictatorial regime, so it has deployed them to the most dangerous areas in Ukraine
Military expert Dmytro Sniehyriov said this on Espreso TV.
“Russian special services have decided to dispose of PMCs subordinated to separate financial structures, such as the Potok PMC, which is subordinated to Gazprom, and those formed on an ethnic basis, i.e. Kadyrov's units,” he said.
According to the expert, Muslim marches in Russia and calls questioning the dominant role of the 'titular' nation and the territorial integrity of Russia were the last straw for Kadyrov's forces to redeploy to the most dangerous areas: Bilohorivka, Marinka, and Avdiivka.
“The decision was made to utilize the units subordinated to Ramzan Kadyrov, because Russian special services consider private armies as a potential threat to the existence of Putin's dictatorial regime,” emphasized Sniehyriov.
