Russia accuses Ukraine of attacking 2 Black Sea Fleet ships with unmanned boats
The Russian Defense Ministry has accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of attacking two Black Sea Fleet ships, located 340 km from Sevastopol, with unmanned boats
Russian Ministry of Defense reported the information on their telegram channel.
Allegedly, three unmanned naval boats tried to attack the patrol ships "Sergei Kotov" and "Vasily Bykov", which were operating 340 km southwest of Sevastopol.
"All three enemy unmanned boats were destroyed by fire from the regular weapons of the Russian ships," the Russian ministry claimed.
The Russian Defense Ministry also assures that the ships "Sergei Kotov" and "Vasily Bykov" of the Black Sea Fleet are still performing their tasks. The ministry noted that "Sergey Kotov" fulfills "the task of controlling navigation".
The Ukrainian authorities and military leadership have not yet commented on these statements by the Russians.
