U.S. allocates $825 million in new memorandum to support Ukraine's energy system
On December 3, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed a memorandum to support the resilience of Ukraine's energy system

The deal, reported by Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, includes up to $825 million in U.S. assistance. The agreement was signed at NATO headquarters.

The memorandum outlines plans to strengthen Ukraine's energy system, focusing on restoring critical infrastructure, promoting distributed energy generation, reforming the energy sector, and supporting the transition to a low-carbon, competitive economy aligned with Europe.
- On November 26, it was reported that Germany had contributed €65 million to the European Energy Community through the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau to help rebuild Ukraine's damaged energy infrastructure.
