"Question of several months": Belarusian journalist Radina on Belarus joining war against Ukraine
Belarusian journalist Nataliya Radina is convinced that decision to involve Belarus into the war against Ukraine will be made not by Lukashenko, but by Putin
She shared her opinion live on air with Espresso TV channel.
"First of all, I want to emphasize that Lukashenko is an impostor. Second, the decision to re-offend from the territory of Belarus will not be made by him. This decision will be made by Putin. The fact that Belarusian army has not yet joined the war against Ukraine means that Putin still does not see the point in this. I believe that a second offensive from the territory of Belarus to the territory of Ukraine will still happen. Most likely, it will not happen in the near future, but within a few months. Although, given Putin's madness, we can also expect a sudden attack from Belarus," Radina explained.
The journalist believes that Lukashenko has lost any control over his own state.
"Today, Lukashenko has lost any opportunity to maneuver. In fact, he became nobody. All these meetings he is holding are clowning and nothing more. Since it is clear even to Belarusian military that the decision to enter Belarus into the war against Ukraine will be made by Putin. Even now, some orders from the Kremlin go directly to the military of Belarus, bypassing Lukashenko," she added.
