Putin's Christmas 'ceasefire': Russian forces launch 14 artillery attacks, three assault attempts in Luhansk region
On January 6, within three hours, the Russian army shelled one of the populated areas in the Luhansk region 14 times and tried to storm it three times
The head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported this.
According to him, no changes have occurred. Even despite the announcement of the so-called ceasefire on Christmas, shelling of Ukrainian territories continued throughout January 6. Attempts to storm some settlements also continued.
Haidai noted that there were small pauses between shelling only when the servicemen needed to load shells to continue firing.
In particular, in the Luhansk region, from 12:00 to 15:00, the invading Russian forces fired at least 14 artillery strikes. Also, during this period, they tried to storm one of the settlements of the region three times.
“People in de-occupied villages sit in basements all day long. Orthodox killers wish them a Merry Christmas,” Haidai wrote.
