Police record more than 1,600 war crimes committed by Russians in de-occupied territory of Kharkiv region, including 1,421 violations of the laws and customs of war.

The press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
"A total of 1,601 war crimes have been registered since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, of which 1,421 are the most under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, 154 under Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and others," the law enforcement officers emphasized.
In addition, in order to prevent the importation of drugs and illegal weapons into populated areas, the police and military checked 4,200 vehicles at checkpoints. 30 people were taken to the police stations on suspicion of conducting propaganda work or participation to sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
