Poles choose Zelenskyy as world politician of 2022

This is evidenced by a survey conducted from November 28 to December 11, PAP reports.

After Zelenskyy, US President Joe Biden won 15% of the votes.

As for Poland's domestic politics, President Andrzej Duda was chosen as the politician of the year (12% of respondents). In addition, Poles most often mentioned names of current Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and former Prime Minister, former President of European Council Donald Tusk - 6% each.

At the same time, 55% of respondents emphasized that no politician in Poland deserves the title of the politician of 2022, who "best cared for the interests of the country and society."

• American publication Politico recognized Zelenskyy as the most influential person in Europe, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, as the "loser of the year".

• Time magazine  TIME called Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the "spirit of Ukraine" symbol of 2022.
