Poland hands over 4 more MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, 14 aircraft are delivered in total

In March, Poland and Slovakia agreed to provide Ukraine with their MiG-29 fighter jets – 27 aircraft have been provided so far

The Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU announced the new batch of planes for Ukraine on Twitter.

“Out of the 575 tanks delivered to Ukraine so far, as many as 325 have been given by Poland,” they tweeted.

In total, Poland has at least 22 MiG-29 fighters in its Air Force.

The MiG-29 is a fourth-generation Soviet multi-role fighter aircraft. It was the main multi-role fighter of the Warsaw Pact countries and the USSR during the 1980s. It is currently in service in many countries, including Ukraine.
