Podoliak wrote about this on Twitter.

According to Podoliak, there is a widespread belief that the 2024 US elections will change the format of assistance to our country.

"In order to really stop supporting Ukraine, any political candidate would have to come out and say directly: 'We are afraid of Russia; we want to lose to a weak Russia; we have always lied to you that such basic values as freedom and democracy are worth defending; we want chaos, wars, terrorism, and lawlessness to reign in the world, sponsored by Russia,'" the advisor writes.

He emphasised that no country in the world will accept the surrender of democracy.

"Ukraine will continue to be supported in full until a fair end to this terrible war," Podoliak explained.

What is known about the US elections

On November 16, 2022, former US President Donald Trump announced that he would run for the White House in 2024.

Later, on April 25, Biden announced that he would run for the US presidency in 2024

On May 21, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election would lead to Ukraine's defeat in the war with Russia.

Former US Special Representative Volker also explained how the US presidential election will affect aid to Ukraine.

Yuri Rashkin, a US politician and public figure, noted that Biden has a feeling that he is the best person to save the US from Trump's second term in office.

On August 21, former US President Donald Trump announced that he would skip the upcoming Republican primaries, citing his significant lead in opinion polls as evidence that he is already well known and liked by voters.

On August 26, Politico noted Ramaswamy's course of rapprochement with Putin. However, it jokingly suggested that he ask Prigozhin how the Russian president is able to fulfill his promises.

On August 28, potential Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy said that he would recognize the occupied territories of Ukraine as Russian and would close Ukraine's path to NATO for the sake of an agreement with Russia against China.

The presidential and parliamentary elections in the United States are scheduled for November 5, 2024.
