Podoliak assesses risks for Ukraine of US 2024 elections
Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak shared his views on the risks for Ukraine of the United States' 2024 elections
Podoliak wrote about this on Twitter.
According to Podoliak, there is a widespread belief that the 2024 US elections will change the format of assistance to our country.
"In order to really stop supporting Ukraine, any political candidate would have to come out and say directly: 'We are afraid of Russia; we want to lose to a weak Russia; we have always lied to you that such basic values as freedom and democracy are worth defending; we want chaos, wars, terrorism, and lawlessness to reign in the world, sponsored by Russia,'" the advisor writes.
He emphasised that no country in the world will accept the surrender of democracy.
"Ukraine will continue to be supported in full until a fair end to this terrible war," Podoliak explained.
